The “Alegría” motorhome parking space offers access for large (max 9 meters) and small motorhomes. There are 20 spacious plots and it is not far from the center of Montánchez, a small and very special village in the heart of Extremadura. Montánchez also has a very well-preserved ruin of an Arab castle. Due to its location at 700 meters above sea level, it offers a spectacular view of the vast flat plains, which is why it is also known as the “Balcony of Extremadura”. You can also have these fantastic views from our parking space.

If you are driving on the A66 Salamanca / Sevilla motorway, take exit 590 towards Montánchez. After about 15 minutes you will be at our motorhome site.

Take exit 590 and follow EX-382 towards Alcuéscar / Montánchez.
After 12 km, take the first exit from the roundabout onto the EX-381 towards Montánchez.
After 1.8 km, exit EX-381 at the roundabout and take the third exit, Robledo Road. (narrower path)
After 800 meters on the left you will find Camperstop Alegría.

Overall impression
Sehr schöner Stellplatz
Wir waren im August 2021 auf diesem wunderschönem, ruhigem und gepflegtem Stellplatz in Montanchez. Die Lage mit dem Blick auf die Extremadura ist umwerfend. Die Betreiber sind ausnehmend nett und haben uns abends freundlicherweise mit in den Ort genommen und morgens Brot vom Bäcker mitgebracht. Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.
