Description of the environment:
The small campsite is located in the middle of Furudal and directly on Lake Oeresjön. From the square you can enjoy the view of the lake. There is a swimming area 100 m away. Hiking trails start right on the outskirts of Furudal. A wonderful place to enjoy the peace of the forest and Dalarna's nature.
The local shops (Snitths Hantverksbageri, Hillboms Restaurang och Pizzeria, hairdressers, Skoaffäre La Gunilla and the local supermarket Tempo) are within walking distance. There is a post office counter and an ATM in the Tempo shop. The hockey school, ice rink and bus stop are just 300 m away.
Furudals Sjöcamping is the perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet, experience the history of Dalarna, do sports, or discover nature with children while collecting mushrooms, swimming, cycling, canoeing or picking berries.
Very important if you are interested in ice hockey: The local ice hockey club IFK Öre often organizes competitions on the weekends and Hockeyborg offers training camps and competitions.
If you are interested in art, history, geology or biology, Mora, Rättvik and Falun offer exciting museums and sights.
