Enjoying a peaceful location just one mile from the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis, the family run Hook Farm Campsite has a rural location but still being a short walk into Lyme.

Public transport links are good with a bus stop close, which also offers buses to Axminister station with trains direct to London. Buses also run along the Jurassic Coast and ideal for sightseeing.

Hook Farm’s location makes it the perfect basecamp for enjoying many of the local long-distance walking trails, with ready access to the striking Undercliffs section of the South West Coast Path, and the East Devon Way providing a convenient riverside walk down to the sea. Please ask in the shop during your stay and we will happily advise on the walks and directions.

Hook Farm is situated in a Dark Skies area which means there is very little light pollution at night and therefore on a clear night we have stunning views of the night sky and in particular the Milky Way. If you are lucky and your stay coincides with the International Space Station passing overhead it is clearly visible.

There are also many fantastic local pubs and restaurants within a few miles of the site that provide great local food and drink. There is also a wonderful local pub called the Talbot Arms offering a good range of drinks, great home cooked food and a warm welcome from the owners Steve and Wendy (Talbotarms.com) within a 5 minute walk of the site
