Description of the environment: The well-known city of Bruneck is located where the Pustertal expands into a wide valley basin. In the north the main Alpine ridge, in the south the World Natural Heritage Dolomites, and in the middle the pulsating life in the historic streets of the Pustertal capital. Bruneck was first mentioned in documents in the 13th century. Trade, commerce and handicrafts helped the city gain reputation and prosperity as early as the late Middle Ages. For decades, Bruneck has been known and popular as a tourist destination far beyond the country's borders. Bruneck Castle, which houses the Messner Mountain Museum RIPA, sits enthroned above the city and can be seen from afar.

Mittlerweile hat sich der Preis auf 8.- € pro Übernachtung geändert, was aber absolut in Ordnung ist.
Kurzer Fußweg in den Ort.
Für ein bis drei Nächte top.
