Our parking space is located directly on the shore of Lake Ablach in the Hohen Zollern district in the Swabian Alb. It offers 24 spacious parking spaces for motorhomes that can be accessed 24 hours a day. The parking space is open all year round. All plots are gravelled and level. The Ablacher See is a private swimming lake with first-class water quality and an extensive fish population. The lake is ideal for walking and cycling. We have day fishing permits available for anglers at our reception.
In the Upper Danube Nature Park there are a variety of opportunities for hiking, climbing tours and canoeing. Golf fans can choose between 6 golf courses in the immediate vicinity of the campsite, including the 18-hole course at the Sigmaringen Zollern Alb Golf Club.
The Hohenzollern Castle, which is visible from afar, as well as Sigmaringen, just 9 km away, with its impressive castle and the Beuron Monastery are ideal for sightseeing and excursions. Campus Galli is also a popular excursion destination for our guests.
FURNISHING
The facilities include a pay machine and coin-operated electricity columns on the plots. Supply and disposal options with fresh water column, floor inlet and garbage containers are available. At the neighboring campsite there is a small shop for camping supplies, coffee, ice cream, drinks and snacks. The nearest restaurant is within walking distance. Campground facilities are also available for a fee, including high-quality sanitary facilities with individual shower cubicles, washing machines and dryers, and WiFi.

Description of the environment:
Our parking space is in Krauchenwies in the Hohenzollern district on the Swabian Alb. It is located on a flat meadow plot directly on the shore of the private Ablacher Lake. The entire lake area and wide shore areas are a nature reserve.
Whether it's a walk or a short bike ride around the lake, a game of golf in one of the many golf clubs in the area, a sightseeing tour of the palaces and castles on the Zollernalb or a trip to Lake Constance - here you have every opportunity to spend your free time as you prefer.
At our reception we have extensive information material available for you on the sights and opportunities to explore the area. We are also happy to provide you with advice and support at any time

Take exit 31-Empfingen towards Empfingen/Balingen/Haigerloch/Albstadt
After 0.5 km turn left onto B463, follow the road for 16 km
Turn left onto B27 towards Rottweil/Balingen/Albstadt/Engstlatt-Süd
After 7 km take the B463 exit towards Sigmaringen/Albstadt, then
Turn right onto Wilhelm-Kraut-Straße/B463. Follow the road for 36 km.
At the roundabout take the second exit (B313).
After 3.6 km continue on L456. Follow the road for 7 km.
Turn right onto Sigmaringer Str./B311. Follow the B311, then turn right onto Ablacher Str. (signs for Ablach). The turnoff to the campsite is signposted.

Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen
14 Tage gebucht-Komfortstellplatz.Hatten am Platz eine Mäuseplage. Die liefen sogar am Tag spazieren. 3 mal an der Rezeption angesprochen,Personal angefleht bitte etwas zu unternehmen-nichts passiert.
Damenduschen standen schon am Eingang unter Wasser. Es war kein Vergnügen dort zu duschen. Viel zu wenig Waschbecken. Duschen und Toilette im Container. Nie wieder..
Waschmaschinen funktionierten auch nicht.Wollte d Chip für die Waschmaschine am Abreisetag zurück geben. Das ging nicht .Vorgabe vom Chef hieß es.

Vorsicht
Der Stellplatz ist mittlerweile sehr schön geworden. Heringe für Markise einschlagen fast unmöglich, es ist sehr steinig. Betreiber leider sehr unfreundlich. Dazu kommt das seine Hunde immer mal wieder ausbüxen und dir vorm Womo stehen. Leider wurde mein Hund vor zwei Jahren von den 2 Hunden vom Besitzer angegriffen, da er diese überhaupt nicht im Griff hat. Die bellen auch den ganzen Tag.Ich musste mit meinem zum Tierarzt, hatte drei Bisse und starke Schmerzen. Der Besitzer hat alle Schuld von sich gewiesen und mich verantwortlich gemacht, obwohl ich Zeugen hatte. Er hat sich geweigert, die Arztrechnung zu bezahlen. Deshalb, obwohl schöner Platz, nie mehr wieder. Noch anzuführen, dass ich nicht die erste war, schade haben sich die anderen Betroffenen nie gewehrt, oder auch in der Bewertung geschrieben.

Der See ist sehr schön. Die Sanitäranlagen müssten geschlossen werden. Alter Dreck überall. Unfreundliches Personal. Kann diesen Platz niemals empfehlen.

Stellplatz offen, aber noch in der Aufbauphase
Dem neu angelegten Stellplatz fehlt noch die Vegetation. Das Gras wächst erst spärlich auf den großzügig parzellierten Stellflächen.
Die Stromversorgung ist gut, doch an den Stromsäulen gibt es kein Display, an dem die noch nicht verbrauchte Strommenge angezeigt wird.
Zum Leeren der Toilettenkassetten gibt es zwar ein Abflussrohr, doch eine Möglichkeit die Kassetten auch auszuspülen gibt es (noch?) nicht.
Toiletten sind auf dem Stellplatz nicht vorhanden, es gibt zwar einen Toilettencontainer, der jedoch abgeschlossen ist. Für die Müllentsorgung sind bislang lediglich zwei Kunststoffsäcke vorgesehen.
