The Mediterranean climate, 300 days of sunshine, the air free of fine dust. The Saas Valley is unique. The four authentic mountain villages of Saas-Fee, Saas-Grund, Saas-Almagell and Saas-Balen exude a special charm. The main town of Saas-Fee is car-free.
By the way, you can even ski on the glaciers of Saas-Fee in summer. That's why most of the world's ski teams train with us. But you can also enjoy the Free Holiday Republic of Saas-Fee in other ways in summer. Four-thousanders, via ferratas, hiking trails and bike routes tempt you. Directions
The Saas Valley can be easily and conveniently reached by car from all directions, whether from Switzerland or abroad.
You can reach us from the north via Bern using the Lötschberg car transport. Discounted tickets for the Lötschberg car transport are available at the tourist office counter in the Saas Valley.
Special timetable during tunnel renovation
From the east you come via the Furka Pass or the Furka car transport, as the pass road is closed in winter.
From the south we can be reached via the Simplon Pass or Simplon car transport and from the west you drive via Lausanne along the Rhone Valley to Visp and from there towards Saas-Fee.

Herzlichen Dank für die Rückmeldung die Sie uns zugestellt haben. Im Saastal haben wir mehrere schöne Campingplätze. Jener von Saas-Fee ist als Abstellplatz für Camper gedacht. Letzten Sommer gab es auf Campingplätzen in der Schweiz regelrecht einen Run. Dieser Run ist auch bei uns nicht spurlos vorbeigegangen. Üblicherweise werden die Kosten auf die Personen hochgerechnet. Beim Camper Abstellplatz in Saas-Fee bezahlen Sie pro Fahrzeug. (ausg. Kurtaxe)

Ein Stellplatz auf der Baustelle
Die Wahlmöglichkeiten sind super! Der so genannte Stellplatz verkommt in den letzten Jahren zur Baustelle der Baufirmen. Er wird immer mehr eingeengt durch die Lagerplätze für die Baustellen und durch Grösse Fahrzeuge wir Bagger, Lief's etc.

Ja, der Abstellplatz für Camper in Saas-Fee bleibt trotz Sanierungsarbeiten beim Parkhaus im Sommer und Herbst 2021 offen. Es muss voraussichtlich tagsüber mit Lärmemissionen bis in den Herbst gerechnet werden aufgrund der wichtigen Bauarbeiten im Parkhaus.
