Description parking space

The “In der Silz” motorhome parking space has 90 parking spaces on over 10,000 m² of meadows.
Surrounded by vineyards, located on the outskirts of the city, near the Palatinate Forest, good starting point for hikes and bike tours, view of Schaeferwarte and Dürkheimer Riesenfass.
A reservation is NOT possible!

Opening hours:
The parking space is open around the clock from midnight to midnight. (Except around the 2nd and 3rd weekend in September.

Prices:
24 hours cost €14.00 per motorhome
During the Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt, the Silz parking space will be used purely as a parking space (until midnight at the latest). We recommend that campervans go to the Knaus campsite.
During this time there are no open spaces available around the mobile homes. We ask for your understanding.

The guest contribution is included in the parking space fee. Payment is made via machine.

Supply and disposal:
Fresh water: 1 € / 80 l (payment via coin machine)
Wastewater disposal: free of charge
Electricity: 1 € / kilowatt hour (kwh) (payment via coin machine)
The disposal station can be used around the clock. Access is not restricted. It is possible to empty built-in and mobile waste water tanks, sewage tanks and cassette toilets. Waste disposal is also possible. There is a fresh water intake point.
There are two power columns with 6 or 8 connections.
Since the power connections are centrally located on the site, we recommend generously sized extension cables.

Dogs are allowed on the premises,
max. length of stay: 3 days,
There are no restrictions on vehicle size.

Bei maximaler Auslastung zu wenig elektrische Versorgung

Standort optimal,da zu Fuss Stadtmitte und Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen sind. Allerdings Ist bei dem erhöhten Besucherandrang die Anzahl der Elektroanschlüsse keineswegs ausreichend. Wer sich nicht solarunterstützt zunächst selbstversorgen kann, muss regelrecht auf der Lauer liegen,wann ein Anschluss frei wird. Zudem ist tatsächlich eine langes Kabel ratsam. Bei nasser Witterung sind die Plätze z.T. in Pfützen unterspült. Bei der Entsorgungsstation gibt es bessere (trockenere) Konzepte.....

vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung.
Die Anmerkung mit den zu geringen Elektroanschlüssen geben wir an die Stadtwerke weiter. Der Platz ist für 90 Wohnmobile ausgelegt.
Generell überdenken wir langfristig die komplette Anlage anders und zeitgemäßer zu gestalten.

Super Ausgangslage zum Radeln und Wandern

Der Platzt bietet ausreichend Platz und war für uns guter Ausgangspunkt fürs Wandern und Radfahren. Das Örtchen ist schnell zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad zu erreichen, ebenso der angrenzende Pfälzerwald.
Trotz angrenzender Straße ist es abends Recht ruhig.

Großzügiger Platz in Zentrumsnähe

Großzügiger Platz, man steht z.T. unter Bäumen und generell auf Wiese. Bei Regen kann es schon mal glitschig werden.
Entsorgung und ausreichende Anzahl von Stromsäulen vorhanden. Müllentsorgung wurde schon länger nicht geleert und war leider übervoll!
Platzvorteil: Die Nähe zum Stadtzentrum. Einige Restaurants ( für jeden Geldbeutel ) in der Nähe!
Platznachteil: Geräuschbeeinträchtigung durch kräftigen Auto-Verkehr auf der Landstraße ( Nachts aber eher ruhig ). Leider sind die Plätze nicht parzelliert.
Alles in allem: ein guter und preiswerter Stellplatz in Zentrumsnähe für 1 oder 2 Übernachtungen!
