Description parking space

Welcome to our RV park at Stover Strand!

The mobile home park is idyllically embedded in the unique natural landscape of the Elbe and has its own beach right on site. The natural pitches are part of the 5-star Stover Strand campsite and, with their location in the border triangle between Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein, offer a good starting point for various excursions, including to the port metropolis of Hamburg or the old salt and Hanseatic city of Lüneburg.

All of the campsite's amenities, such as the large sanitary building on the main site, the two restaurants and the well-equipped fresh produce market with bread roll service, are also available to you.

When you arrive, please make sure that you drive through the access road to the end, there is a small campsite in front!

  • Description of the environment: The Stover Strand mobile home park is a separate, park-like, unparceled parking space. Here there is space for up to 70 mobile homes directly on the Elbe.

    It couldn't be better: in a scenic and absolutely quiet location in the outer dike area, you can watch the ships passing by on the Elbe from your motorhome.

    Wide driveways lead over the dike to the level parking space with solid ground. There is a Holiday Clean facility with a ground inlet in front of the RV park. There are power boxes, water supply, Wi-Fi and sanitary facilities in the overnight areas.

    The Camping Stover Strand mobile home park is located at the end of the access road.

    By car
    The Stover Strand campsite can be easily reached via the A39 from the south or the A25 from the north. In Stove, turn onto Stover Strand Street and drive through to the roundabout at the end.

    You drive past a small campsite in front of the road. Our campsite is the last place at the end of the access road. It is located in a quiet location right on the water. Orient yourself by the Camping Stover Strand sign.

    We are located on the southern bank of the Elbe in the border triangle between Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein. Due to the good motorway connections, you can reach Hamburg, Lüneburg or Lauenburg in 30 minutes. The Baltic Sea is 100 km away.

    Directions from the south:
    In Maschen you exit the A7 onto the A39 and in Handorf from the motorway onto the B404. Before the Elbe bridge, turn off the B404 in Rönne towards Stove. In Stove, follow the signs and drive along the access road to the end.

    From the west:
    You drive from the A1 onto the A7 and turn onto the A39 at Maschen. The further journey corresponds to the description from the south.

    From the north:
    Take the A25 to Geesthacht and turn onto the B404 towards Lüneburg. After a few kilometers you drive over the Elbe and then immediately turn towards Drage. You drive through Rönne, Schwinde and Stove. Here you turn following the signs and drive along the access road to the end.

    From the east:
    Take the A24 at Schwarzenbeck in the direction of Geesthacht and take the B404 in Geesthacht. Then follow the directions northwards.

    By bus
    Buses run from Hamburg to Geesthacht and Rönne. Simply create your individual timetable using the HVV timetable information for the greater Hamburg area.

    Experienced people can reach us on foot from Rönne, others take a connecting bus or call the shared taxi subsidized by the Elbmarsch municipality (Tel.: +49 (0)4177-719917). From Winsen the bus takes you directly to our place, 150 m away.

    With the boat
    If you have your own boat, you can go directly to our Elbe harbor. On special occasions, we are also visited by passenger ships that sail into the port of Hamburg.

    leider sind auf dem womo stellplatz keine waschmöglichkeiten man muß zum hauptgebäude laufen. wlan muß leider bezahlt werden ist auf vielen plätzen service hier nicht aber man kann nicht alles haben.trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert

    zum Übernachten oder einen Kurz Urlaub vor HH Toren sehr gut geeignet.

    Super Lage an der Elbe , toller Platz

    Sind für eine Nacht zum Stover Strand gefahren und hatten einen Platz in erster Reihe mit Blick auf die Elbe , für €14,- ein schöner Platz , die Rezeption sehr freundlich . Die Sanitäranlagen auf dem Hauptplatz super modern und sauber, die Toilettenhäuschen auf dem Mobilplatz sauber und ok . Man muss allerdings die schifffahrt auf der Elbe berücksichtigen die auch nachts vorbei fährt aber das gehört dazu. Man kann au
    ch wunderbar Radtouren von dort nach Hoopte machen 11km und findet dort eine fischräucherei und änder nette lokale wie den Hofladen Löscher mit Hofcafe mitblick auf Elbe .
    Der Strand am Platz lädt auch zum Blick aufs Wasser und den Sonnenuntergang über Hamburg ein , also für einen Kurzbesuch immer wieder

    Schöner Campingplatz

    Ich kann den Campingplatz nur weiter empfehlen er liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Es gibt einen Badestrand mit Angelmöglichkeit, einen Edeka(Sehr frische Brötchen) und vieles mehr.

    Kurz Besuch

    Wir waren nur für eine Nacht auf dem Wohnmobilstellplatz direkt an der Elbe. Daher auch ein Stern Abzug. Wenn man leichten Schlaf hat könnte einen das Schiffsgeräusch stören. Ansonsten herrlich in der Elblandschaft. Duschen / WC auf dem Campingplatz bestens gepflegt und sauber.

    Super Platz

    Wir sind sehr oft am stover strand. Selbst bei dem schlechten Wetter jetzt im Oktober haben wir 4 schöne Tage verbracht. Die Damen und Herren in der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich. Sanitärräume sind nicht zu beanstanden. Selbst die Sanitärhäuschen auf dem womo Stellplatz sind tadellos sauber. Wir kommen immer wieder gern dahin.

    Haben hier unseren letzten Urlaubstag verbracht, nochmal die Ruhe genießen. Standen mit unserem WoMo direkt mit Blick auf die Elbe und den Sonnenuntergang. Können wir nur empfehlen.
    Nur das Essen im Restaurant war nicht so unser Geschmack, aber man kann es ja nicht jedem Recht machen.

    sehr schön gelegener Stellplatz an der Elbe.
    Das Personal an der Rezeption ist leider nicht immer kompetent. Reklamation wurde aber schlussendlich zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelöst.
    Ich würde den Wohnmobilpark aber jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

    Ideal zum Kurztrip-besuch nach Hamburg

    Die Möglichkeiten nach Hamburg zu gelangen sind (wenn man von den Schiffen die dorthin fahren absieht) sehr gut! Neben dem guten ÖPNV Angebot gibt es im Sommer sogar einen kostenlosen Fahrradbus!

        • Mein WOMO ist 2004 zugelassen und ein Diesel. Ich habe deshalb Dieselfahrverbot in Hamburg und bekomme auch keine Umweltplakette. Kann ich den Stellplatz erreichen ohne Strafzahlung zu riskieren? Komme von A7
