    Neu angelegter Stellplatz vor den Toren Iphofen`s

    Wir, ein Campingbus besetzt mit zwei Personen und einem Hund, haben für einen Tag 2,00€ € für Strom bezahlt, der Stellplatz ist kostenlos. Eigentlich haben wir nur 0,50 € Strom verbraucht. Dieser Stellplatz war unser der erster Platz außerhalb eines Campingplatzes, also ohne Erfahrung was unser neuer Bus so pro Tag an Strom verbraucht, jetzt wissen wir es.
    Der Platzbetreiber, die Stadt Iphofen, hat diesen neuen Platz gerade erst im Mai/Juni 2018 freigegeben. Ein mit Rasengittersteinen angelegter und mit Strom und Wasserversorgung ausgestattender, schönen Platz, direkt am Toreingang zur Altstadt Iphofen. Toiletten befinden sich nahe dem Stellplatz. Eine Dusche haben wir nicht gefunden (steht so in einigen Campingführern). Die Sanitäranlagen, Toiletten und eine kleine Waschmöglichkeit sind sauber und ausreichend im Verhältnis zu den Stellplätzen vorhanden. Die Stellplatzgröße ist großzügig angelegt.
    Die Stadt Iphofen bietet eigentlich alles was das Herz begehrt, Restaurants, Weinbauunternehmen, ein kleines Kaufhaus, eine neue, moderne Vinothek, Bäckerrein, Biergärten usw. Wir haben montags (viele Gaststätten hatten Ruhetag) in der Altstadt in der Weinstube Brausewein, bei freundlicher Bedienung, gut gegessen und einen guten Wein getrunken, diese Weinstube können wir nur empfehlen, war sehr zufriedenstellend auch unserem Hund hat es gefallen.
    Unsere Empfehlung nach dem Essen, einen Spaziergang einmal um die Altstadt von Iphofen, immer an der Altstadtmauer entlang.
