Some time ago, Markt Pressig set up a mobile home parking space in Rothenkirchen for mobile home enthusiasts. On the initiative of Heinz Zapf and with the support of the “Freie Motorhome Club Kassel”, the Pressig market was able to create the necessary facilities for mobile homes. The trade magazine “pro mobil” presented Pressig as “Municipality of the Month” in its 12/2000 issue. About fifty The gravelled space can accommodate vehicles on 0.4 hectares. Referred to as the first parking space in the beautiful Franconian Forest, the quiet location and the possibility of carrying out various tours from here are addressed.

Preistreiberei
Die Anpassung der Preise in den letzten Jahren von 5 auf 6 EUR, danach 8 EUR waren nachvollziehbar. Für eine Erhöhung auf 12 EUR/Nacht fehlt es am Engagement der hierfür Verantwortlichen und vergleichbarer Ausstattung anderer Orte/Plätze.

Schade, schade
Nach zwei Jahren (siehe Bwertung von 2015) hatten wir uns auf ein Wiedersehen mit diesem schönnen Fleckchen Erde sehr gefreut..
und dann eine herbe Enttäuschung erlebt: der ganze Platz von Dauercampern belagert (mit Außenküche und allem drum und dran...) Nicht ein Wohnmobil.
So ist der Platz leider verloren. Schade, dass die Betreiber das zulassen.

Geruhsame Nacht
Das ist ein wirklich sehr schöner, vorallem ruhiger Platz.
(fast) im Wald gelegen, am Beginn eines wunderbaren Tales, in dem man herrlich wandern kann.Sehr netter "Platzwart". Duschen, Toiletten im Freibad sind ordentlich und sauber. Im Ort Versorgung möglich.
Da kann man es auch ein paar Tage aushalten.
