Welcome to the Lower Rhine!

Do you want to explore the Lower Rhine? Then our motorhome parking space offers the perfect starting point for your exploration of the region.

Our parking space is 900 meters away from the center of Kamp-Lintfort. In Kamp-Lintfort, the Middle Ages meets modernity. The formerly industrial town has developed into an interesting university town. The best-known national highlight is the Kamp Monastery, founded in 1123, with its baroque terraced garden. Fans of industrial culture are drawn to the old Friedrich Heinrich settlement, one of the largest mining colonies.

The generously planned plots are quietly located right next to the “Große Goorley” stream. From here, both the Kamp Monastery and the grounds of the State Garden Show can be reached on foot via a 2.7 km long walking path.

So that you can plan your time with us on the Lower Rhine better, we offer you lots of tips for excursions, including by bike. The Lower Rhine is particularly popular as a cycling region. Maybe you already have your bike with you, otherwise you can rent a NiederrheinRad directly from Wellings Parkhotel.

  • Description of the environment: The 39 plots are comfortably furnished with gravel lawns and their own electricity connection (240V). The pitches are spacious and have a length of 10m to 12m. The modern service house has sanitary facilities with toilets and showers. A barrier regulates arrivals and departures, which are possible between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. A supply and disposal station with a gray water shaft that can be driven over offers the latest state of the art technology. The electricity stations can be used cashless and the site has free WiFi.

    Viel Gutes aber auch einige negative Punkte

    Wir waren im März auf dem Wohnmobilstellplatz.
    Die Plätze sind gerade. ABER: keine Rasengittetsteine sondern „Matsch/Morastwiese“. Die Steine liegen ausschließlich auf den Fahrwegen.
    Sanitäranlagen machten auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck. 3 Toiletten für alle Geschlechter fanden wir aber nicht ausreichend!
    Unangenehm waren die Duschen, die aufgrund von 80 Cent/Minute auch recht teuer sind.
    Es gibt keine Flitschen, um das Wasser oder die Dusche zu „reinigen“, aber wäre auch nicht möglich, da im vorderen Bereich kein Abfluss vorhanden ist.

    Die, in vielen Bewertungen beschriebenen, Hähne sind tatsächlich im Dauermodus aktiv.
    Das kann nerven, wenn man sich nerven lassen möchte.
    Die Kläranlage haben wir gerichtlich nur einmal kurz wahrgenommen.
    Befürchten aber, dass das im Sommer nicht angenehm ist.
    Uns ist der Platz etwas zu „kahl“, aber ist eben eine Stellplatz.
    Die Lage fanden wir gut, Bäcker und Lebensmittel in der Nähe, direkt am Wandelweg, nicht weit zum Kloster, Innenstadt u.v.m.
    Finden den Preis etwas zu hoch.
