The motorhome parking space is located on the Forchheim sports island directly on the Regnitz cycle path (Bamberg - Forchheim - Nuremberg). Access is also possible for long mobile vehicles via a bridge (max. 5.5 t). The 22 parking spaces are open all year round for self-catering purposes. The surface is level and paved with grass paving stones. The sanitary facilities are located right next door to the sports facility.
In the immediate vicinity there is a supermarket, restaurants, mini golf, skate park and other leisure activities. It is only a 10-minute walk to the historic old town via the pedestrian bridge. The most beautiful sights are the “Imperial Palace”, the parish church of St. Martin, “Little Venice” with its fish boxes and the fortress. Probably the “largest beer garden in the world” is located in the Kellerwald and can be reached on foot from the old town in 30 minutes.

Overall impression
War nur als Zwischenstopp eingeplant
Für eine Nacht und alle, die "Forchheim sehen zu müssen" auf ihrer ToDo-Liste haben, völlig ausreichend. Strom ist vorhanden, Sani-Anlagen sollen wohl da sein, wir haben wohl nicht intensiv genug gesucht. Der Platz wird am Automaten bezahlt und ist mit 9 Euro Standard. Das Zentrum ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Und dies ist echt einen Besuch wert. Wir waren am Freitag Abend in der Innenstadt zwecks Essen und wurden von der Fülle an gastronomischen Angeboten fast erschlagen. Allerdings wird es ab 21 Uhr schwierig, noch eine warme Küche zu finden. Hier müssen wir das "Little India Forchheim" lobend erwähnen, lecker, viel und zum angemessenen Preis. Und immer schön dran denken, WoMo-Fahrer grüßen sich.

Für kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung
Durch den angrenzenden PKW Parkplatz gibt es etwas Umtrieb. Leider ist die Autobahn in Hörweite, aber dafür ist der Platz in der Nähe der schönen Altstadt

Gute Anbindung an die Stadt
Gut angelegter Stellplatz. Es sind ca. 10 Gehminuten zur Innenstedt mit viel Gasthäusern .
Ver und Entsorgung perfekt . Eine Ratte war Dauergast auf dem Platz , was nicht bei jedem gut ankommt !
