Description RV park
Glavotok campsite is located on the beautiful island of Krk. Glavotok is surrounded by lush nature, Mediterranean forests and the crystal clear Adriatic Sea. For years, Glavotok and Šotovento (western part of the island of Krk) have been destinations that attract numerous tourists thanks to their natural beauties and the peace and quiet they offer their guests.
By building the first plant-based wastewater treatment plant in Croatia, we have made a small contribution to the common goal of preserving nature. In the sewage treatment plant, the wastewater is cleaned in a system of water basins and reeds. In Glavotok and Šotovento there are several pebble beaches where you can completely relax and fully enjoy the beauties of the Adriatic.
The Glavotok campsite offers accommodation in mobile homes as well as on large furnished plots.
Sanitary facilities ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Local food, fresh fish, olive oil and vegetables form the basis of the diet in our areas. In our Glavotok restaurant, dishes are prepared in the traditional way under the peka (bell).
A walk takes you to the small, idyllic settlement of Glavotok, where the monastery of the Franciscans of the Third Order (Glagolitic) and the Church of St. Mary, built in 1507, are located. The monastery is of great cultural importance, especially for Croatian cultural heritage in connection with the Glagolitic script. Walking along the sea or from Milohnić, you can visit the little church of St. Krševan - a zero-category monument.
Next to the remote campsite there is a holm oak forest (1 ha) - one of the protected forest vegetation reserves in Croatia.
Visit the Glavotok campsite and enjoy the beautiful nature, the unique sunsets, get to know the cultural heritage of the island of Krk, enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and take advantage of the numerous sporting activities.

The easiest way to get to the island of Krk by car or bus is from the mainland over the Krk Bridge.
Directions:
1) Munich (D) - Salzburg (A) - Villach - Karawankentunnel (SLO) - Ljubljana - Postojna - Rijeka (HR), from here towards “Otok Krk”, Kraljevica - Island of Krk - Follow the main road Zollbrücke/Krk. Exit towards the Valbiska ferry pier on the right, then follow the signs 'Glavotok'. The last 2 km is a narrow road with alternate bays.
2) Trieste (I) - Kozina (SLO) - Rupa (HR) - Rijeka -Kraljevica -Island of Krk - Follow the main road Zollbrücke/Krk. Exit towards the Valbiska ferry pier on the right, then follow the signs 'Glavotok'. The last 2 km is a narrow road with alternate bays.
3) Graz (A) - Maribor (SLO) - Zagreb (HR) - Rijeka - exit Crikvenica / Otok Krk - Island of Krk - Follow the main road Zollbrücke/Krk. Exit towards the Valbiska ferry pier on the right, then follow the signs 'Glavotok'. The last 2 km is a narrow road with alternate bays.
4) Budapest (HU) - Gorican (HR) - Zagreb - Rijeka - Crikvenica / Island of Krk exit - Follow the main road Zollbrücke/Krk. Exit towards the Valbiska ferry pier on the right, then follow the signs 'Glavotok'. The last 2 km is a narrow road with alternate bays.
