Voices of the winners: This is how Europe's best campsites see the future of camping.
As part of the stellplatz.info Award 2026, we asked the award-winning campsite operators to answer three questions:
- Camping trends: What changes are you observing among your guests? Has the typical camper changed in recent years?
- Investments & Development: Have you invested in your parking space in recent years, or are you planning any expansions or improvements?
- Online booking & reservation: Are you experiencing an increasing demand for online reservations or direct bookings?
The following sites have given us some insight. Their responses show how different, yet how similar, the challenges and opportunities are in the European campsite market.

- Online booking & reservation: Automated booking system under development; in the future, guests will be able to pre-book their preferred seat and services themselves.
