Description RV park
Motorhome travelers will find a pitch at the tranquil Franzrasen, located on an island in the Werra River in the heart of the spa town and in close proximity to the historic old town. Here, motorhome owners can stop with their mobile homes at any time of year without a reservation and discover the enchanting half-timbered town with its charming natural surroundings.
Only during the Harvest and Local Heritage Festival on the third weekend in August is the festival tent erected on the Franzrasen. Alternative pitches for motorhomes are available on the opposite "Alleerasen" for one week before and one week after the festival. The Franzrasen site, shaded by old trees, can accommodate more than 100 motorhomes. The terrain is level, partly paved and partly gravelled.
