Description RV park
Behind our mill, the mill garden offers space for 2-3 mobile homes or tents. Idyllically located on the old stone bridge and surrounded by 2 rivers and the reservoir for our turbine, the garden offers plenty of space to run around and relax. You can swim in the rivers/streams at your own risk. The road or bridge is not very busy, there is also the option of standing further away from the road. Meadow and gravel path as well as (depending on weight) concrete are the surfaces for camping. High-voltage electricity (from our own hydroelectric power plant) and fresh water are available for a small fee (sometimes not directly at the parking space). Visitors are welcome to use the toilets during our opening hours.
We would be happy if you would come and say hello and let us know how long you would like to stay. Also so that we can make sure that you are standing correctly and we can avoid trouble with the neighboring farmers. Instead of paying a stand fee, we would be happy if you would stop by or shop in our organic store. So everyone benefits from it :-)
In addition to a relaxing day on the river, Amöneburg and the surrounding area also offer a lot more. A variety of award-winning hiking trails, some of which start directly from our mill, others can be reached in a 2-10 minute drive (also by public transport). Marburg is also just a stone's throw away and behind the mill there is also a large forest that provides pleasant coolness on hot summer days.

- Description of the environment: We are right on the outskirts of town. There are various rivers/streams/reservoirs directly at the mill garden. The old stone bridge has already written history and international peace has already been concluded on it. The mill itself offers an idyllic inner courtyard that invites you to linger. The old town with a magnificent view can only be reached in about 30 minutes. There is also wonderful nature around the mountain, which invites you to go on shorter and longer hikes. The place is on the east side of the mill, which makes it wonderful to enjoy the sun in the morning. We recommend the meadows in front of the mill in the evening, which can be reached within a minute via the old stone bridge.

Attention: a maximum of 2.8t is permitted on the stone bridge. It is best to take the access from the bypass and do not drive over the bridge (if you are standing in front of the bridge: drive out of the town in the direction of Kirchhain, turn right at the exit towards Schweinsberg/Homberg and then take the next exit to the right again, then you are there on the other side of the bridge - or just come and ask :-) ) Our mill garden is behind the mill. To the left of the stone power tower you will find a small field path, everything to the right of the field path belongs to our mill, the left side and the meadow where the path ends belong to other farmers. Please report to the mill briefly so that we can see whether you are in the right place.
