Activities Animal lovers have the opportunity to help feed the animals or harvest hay. Gut Lindlerhof is in an excellent location for wonderful hikes in the Hohe Tauern National Park or for long tours on the beautiful, newly created cycle path. There's even the opportunity to hunt and fish! Brand new: Guests can use the Margarethenbad wellness facility with sauna and whirlpool bath.
Hohe Tauern National Park
The Hohe Tauern National Park is one of the last untouched landscapes in the heart of Europe! Experience magical moments on a hike through the largest protected area in the Alps. Cross vast, primeval alpine landscapes such as glaciers, rock faces, lawns and painstakingly maintained alpine landscapes and allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the extremes of the national park. In addition to the "King", as the Austrians dignifiedly call their highest mountain, the 3,798 m high Großglockner, another 300 peaks rise above 3,000 m into the sky, around 10% of the national park is still covered by glaciers and 279 natural mountain streams cascade from the high mountains down into the valley. Including the turquoise blue Möll, the longest wild river in the Alps. Simply breathtaking!
