We are Andrea & Cris, who warmly welcome you to their lovingly designed eco-campsite at the foot of Mount Baleia in Pui, Hunedoara County, Transylvania. Nestled between the Retezat and Sureanu Mountains, the Via Transilvanica, Fundatura Ponorului, and Transalpina, Pui is the ideal starting point or resupply point, and our camp is the perfect outdoor base for experiencing the authentic cultural landscape, history, and wilderness of the Transylvanian Alps. Or for relaxing outdoors and refreshing yourself in our mountain river, the Rau Barbat. With a lot of passion, attention to detail, and a love of nature, we have created the ideal sustainable place for all those who visit our homeland and share our values.

Our Baleia campsite is located in Pui, in the heart of the beautiful Romanian Carpathians. Here you will find directions to help you reach us easily:
By car:
• From Deva (E79/DN66): Take the E79/DN66 towards Petroșani. In Pui, turn right onto the local road that leads directly to our campsite.
• From Timișoara: Follow the A1 towards Deva, then continue on the E79/DN66 to Pui.
• From Sibiu: Take the A1 towards Sebeș, then continue on the E79/DN66 to Pui.
By train:
The nearest train station is in Petroșani or Hațeg. From there you can take a taxi or a local bus to Pui.
By plane:
The nearest airports are:
• Sibiu International Airport (SBZ) – approx. 2.5 hours drive
• Timișoara International Airport (TSR) – approx. 3 hours drive
From there you can take a rental car or travel to Pui by bus and train.
