Description of the environment:
The municipality of Xeraco has a comprehensive tourist offer, not limited to its excellent beach, one of the most important in the province of Valencia. Since 1988, it has received the European Blue Flag year after year, one of the most prestigious awards a beach can receive. Likewise, Xeraco Strand has the ISO 14001 environmental management certificate granted by the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR).
In addition to these prestigious awards, Xeraco Strand also has the Q for Tourism Quality awarded by the ICTE and the Quality Badge of the Ministry of Tourism. The main feature of Xeraco beach is the water quality and the family character.
Xeraco Playa is about 10km from the small, lively town of Gandia. There there are numerous opportunities to shop in cute boutiques, stroll on the 'Paseo' and enjoy a good coffee or the delicious Valencian specialty 'Horchata' - a drink made from tiger nuts. To taste.
