- Description of the environment: The landmark of the small town of Itter, located between Hopfgarten and Söll, is a small castle, which unfortunately cannot be visited. Thanks to the Salvista cable car that starts on the outskirts of the town, Itter has a direct connection to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, Austria's largest ski area. Between Hopfgarten, Söll, Ellmau, Going and Brixen im Thale, just 20 kilometers behind the Kiefersfelden border crossing, 88 lifts provide transport to 279 kilometers of slopes. Although the predominantly gentle ski mountains do not even reach the 2000 meter mark in the face of the rocky peaks of the Wilder Kaiser, the prices are still at an affordable level.

Traveling to the Hohe Salve holiday region and the Kitzbühel Alps with your own car is easy and comfortable. The region is very centrally located in the Tyrolean lowlands and all towns in the Hohe Salve holiday region can be easily reached via developed roads. So there are no annoying dams or strenuous serpentine and pass roads on the way to your holiday paradise. Leave the motorway at Wörgl Ost and follow the road towards Brixental. At the roundabout take the first exit and follow the signs to Hopfgarten. After about 3 km you will reach our campsite.
