Description RV park
Sosul is a family campsite and is located about 3 km from the city center. It has up to 30 tent pitches as well as 8 pitches for caravans and motorhomes. It is considered an ideal place for relaxation, recreation and enjoyment.
We offer you the opportunity to relax on beautiful, well-kept lawns within a landscaped garden with suitable amenities: a floodlit tennis court, a saltwater swimming pool and a mini-gym. We also offer play facilities for children in our toddler area – a swing. Campers have access to a fully equipped kitchen 24/7, as well as sanitary facilities with showers, a washing machine, Wi-Fi, charging for mobile phones and tablets, and a reception with books in various foreign languages about tourism, campsites, and the town of Sombor.
The campsite also has several electrical connections for motorhomes and chemical toilet cleaning.
Sosul is surrounded by a fence, has lighting, video surveillance and a covered parking area for bicycles and motorcycles. It is possible to rent tents, bicycles and sleeping bags from us. The new thing at our campsite is that our campers have the opportunity to rent two wooden cabins if they don't feel like camping. These are fully equipped like apartments. All related prices are available on our website.
700m from Sosul, there is the large Backi Canal, so swimming, fishing, canoeing or sailing along the upper part of the Danube are ways to enjoy nature that we recommend. Along the canal there are several restaurants serving traditional cuisine at cheaper prices.

Description of the environment:
Sombor is one of the most beautiful cities in Serbia. The city is known for its churches, galleries, museums, town hall, authentic theater and libraries.
Sombor is a treasure trove of various architectural styles and exceptional green spaces.
Sombor is the city of artists, among whom Milan Konjović, Veljko Petrović and Laza Kostić are worth mentioning. Sombor is the city of the forgotten horse-drawn carriages. Various traditional farms, restaurants and wine cellars where you can taste the specialties of Vojvodina characterize the city today.
You can actively enjoy almost all the beauties of our city. The moments that the residents of Sombor are particularly proud of are horse-drawn carriage rides through the city streets, boat trips on the Great Backa Canal, walks and spending time in nature. Sosul offers the organization of cycling routes/tours through the Gornje Podunavlje Nature Reserve, either independently or with a guide. Gornje Podunavlje is an impressive special nature reserve in northwestern Serbia, along the left bank of the Danube. It includes extensive wetlands, forests, meadows and ponds, including two large swamps, Monoštorski Rit and Apatinski Rit. The reserve is part of the transboundary biosphere project "Mura-Drava-Danube", which is often called the "Amazon of Europe" due to its rich biodiversity. It is home to over 150 bird species, including rare and endangered ones, as well as diverse aquatic and semi-aquatic vegetation. Visitors can discover its beauty through hiking, biking or guided tours, making it a paradise for nature lovers.

Please note that there is a dirt road, so we ask you to follow our instructions here:
- If you are coming from the center of Sombor and are driving along Apatinski put in the direction of Apatin, you should drive past three large picture boards on the right-hand side. You will then come to an intersection where you can either turn left or continue straight - GO STRAIGHT ON HERE AND DO NOT TURN LEFT. 182m after the intersection there is a narrow street on the left that you should turn into. This is the street where the campsite is located. - After about 700m you will arrive at your destination.
If you are coming from the direction of Apatin, you should just drive straight from the Sombor town sign until you come to the bridge. Drive over the bridge and continue straight ahead for another 230m. Then turn RIGHT into the small, secluded street. This is the street where the campsite is located. After about 700m you arrive at your destination. So please don't drive to the big intersection with traffic lights.
