In the middle of the Franconian Lake District, between Brombachsee and Rothsee, in the metropolitan region of Nuremberg, the comfortably equipped Waldsee campsite stretches picturesquely along a bathing lake on the edge of a large forest area.
Whether you arrive with your own camper van, caravan or tent, or want to enjoy the natural experience in one of our idyllic log cabins, mobile homes or our holiday apartment - our quiet location promises relaxing holidays in the middle of nature all year round, even when camping in winter.
The approximately 400 km long network of hiking and cycling trails that surrounds our site, as well as our proximity to the cities of Nuremberg and Roth, offer interesting destinations for exciting day trips.
Nuremberg is also worth a trip by train. Either you park your car for free at the train station in Roth and use the convenient train connection with the Day Ticket Plus, or we order the scheduled taxi for you and you walk about 1 km to the pick-up point.
During the holiday season we organize a varied entertainment program for all guests, both big and small.

Description of the environment:
- The approximately 400 km long network of hiking and cycling trails that surround our site offers ideal conditions for trips into nature
- The Rothsee with its 212 hectares of water surface and the Brombachsee are ideal for sailing, surfing, fishing and swimming and can be reached from us in around 10 and 20 minutes respectively
- The old town of Roth and the Margravial hunting lodge Ratibor, Hilpoltstein with the castle ruins as well as the numerous sights of the metropolis of Nuremberg take you on cultural paths

From the direction of Heilbronn/Nuremberg:
Take the A6 motorway to the Roth exit, then continue on the B2 until the Wernsbach exit. Turn right here towards Wallesau, Eckersmühlen. Shortly before the Wallesau town limit sign, turn right into Badstraße and follow it for about 1 kilometer to the campsite.
From the direction of Augsburg/B2:
Take the B2 until you reach the Wernsbach exit and turn right towards Wallesau, Eckersmühlen. Shortly before the Wallesau town limit sign, turn right into Badstraße and follow it for about 1 kilometer to the campsite.
From the direction of Munich/Nuremberg:
Autobahn A9 Nuremberg - Munich, Autobahn exit 55 Allersberg: Attention, the roundabout directly at the motorway is closed. We therefore recommend the following route:
From the direction of Munich: Take the Hilpoltstein exit and follow the signs to Hilpoltstein. In Hilpoltstein, drive towards Roth. In the village of Eckersmühlen, turn left towards Wallesau. In Wallesau, take the first left after the town entrance sign into Badstraße and follow the road for approximately 1.2 kilometers.
From Nuremberg: You either take the A9 towards Munich, then exit onto the A6 towards Heilbronn and take the Roth exit. Then take the Wernsbach/Wallesau exit on the B2. Here you turn off towards Wallesau and drive through the village. Turn right onto the last street before the town exit sign (Badstraße) and follow the road for approximately 1.2 km. Alternatively, take the A9 to the Hilpoltstein exit and then drive to Hilpoltstein. From there, head towards Roth. In the village of Eckersmühlen, turn left towards Wallesau. Immediately after the town entrance sign, take the first left (Badstraße) and follow it for approximately 1.2 km.
