Motorhome park Heidewald… always worth a stay!
The Heidewald mobile home park is an integrated yet independent part of the 5-star Heidewald camping park in the east of Sassenberg, on the edge of the Feldmark recreation area. The city of Sassenberg has a good transport infrastructure and is easily accessible via a well-developed motorway and federal road network. It is approximately 40 km away from the two regional centers of Münster and Osnabrück. In addition to extensive shopping tours, tourists like to take advantage of the international and university orientation as well as the rich cultural program of both cities.
In the reception of the Heidewald mobile home and camping park, guests will find information about the area as well as a bread roll service. An Italian restaurant on site where people cook with a lot of love or prefer Croatian food is the Silberfuchs restaurant about 100 m away. In the city center area of Sassenberg (a good 2 km) there are all the retail offerings for everyday life, as well as pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, banks and well-stocked ice cream and cake cafés. In addition, a number of well-known food and fashion producers in the Sassenberg area offer affordable factory sales that you shouldn't miss. You will receive a specially created information flyer at reception.
The Feldmark recreation area is directly adjacent to the parking space. The Feldmarksee can be reached on foot in just a few minutes from the site. The Feldmarksee offers a variety of water sports activities and has a wide sandy beach with shallow access to the shore. The entire bank design quickly invites water lovers to take a swim. The gastronomic offerings within sight of the lake with regional culinary offerings and the tempting specialties of a well-stocked Italian ice cream parlor quickly turn a day at Feldmarksee into a relaxing holiday.
Located in the middle of the idyllic Münsterland bicycle park, the Heidewald mobile home park is an ideal starting point for bicycle tours. The middle center of Warendorf, the horse town in Münsterland, with a beautiful old town (approx. 6 km) is always worth a detour. The pilgrimage town of Telgte with its beautiful inner city area can also be easily reached by bike (approx. 20 km). The surrounding baths - Bad Laer, Bad Iburg, Bad Rothenfelde (all within a radius of approx. 20 km) - offer special attractions and are also easily accessible by bike. If you don't have your own bikes with you, you can rent bikes of various designs and e-bikes on site. This means that nothing stands in the way of spontaneous or extensive bike tours in the surrounding area.
