Camp in the middle of nature at the northern tip of Funen and enjoy the most beautiful view across the water to Æbelø with the beach right at your feet. At the same time, you can easily go on a shopping trip to Odense.
Beautiful view over the water
At Flyvesandet Beach you will stay in the first row with a view over the water. The child-friendly beach is located directly in front of the site and invites you to spend long summer days playing in the water and taking lovely walks along the shore. You can also explore the forest or take a detour to Æbelø with its wild nature, where you can experience sea eagles and fallow deer.
Flyvesandet Beach is situated in picturesque surroundings and is surrounded by beautiful nature just waiting to be explored. Flyvesandet Strand is the northernmost campsite in North Funen and, with its waterfront location, is a gem for anyone who dreams of a holiday in harmony with nature.
Community, children and dogs
Children can romp around on the playground with the large bouncy castle and other great play equipment. In summer, the site organizes fun activities for children. If you have a dog, you can take a nice walk in the dog forest and chat with other dog owners. Buy delicious food and drinks so you can fire up the grill and enjoy the beautiful campsite with family and friends.
City life on Funen
If you fancy a bit of city life with shopping, culture and cafés, Odense is just a short drive away. Here you can find the H.C. Andersen House, the Funen Village, the Danish Railway Museum and the city center with its many shops and restaurants.
If you prefer more city life, you can experience most of Funen in just an hour's drive - Nyborg in the east, Svendborg and Faaborg in the south, Assens and Middelfart in the west and, last but not least, neighboring Bogense in the north.
Egeskov Castle
Take a trip to Egeskov Castle. There are experiences for the whole family: the camping open-air museum, vintage cars and aircraft, motorcycles, Dracula's tomb, Piet Hein's labyrinth, a nature playground, a treetop walkway, and, of course, the castle with its enchanting park.
