Description RV park
Stay in a beautiful oasis on the beautiful Lake Viborg in green Central Jutland. Shops, cozy restaurants and excursion destinations such as Himmelberg, the Limfjord, the Randers Rainforest and much more are easily accessible on foot.
Stay by the lake and within walking distance of Viborg
At Sønder Sø, opposite Viborg city center, you will find the well-maintained campsite like a small oasis surrounded by greenery. Follow the path along the lake into the city center, where you will find numerous good restaurants and shops, and experience the historic cathedral. Garden lovers can visit the Forest Botanical Garden and the Nordic Park right next to the square.
Entertainment for children
Children can satisfy their hunger for play on the beautiful playground with two bouncy castles, have fun on the moon car track, or play a game of mini golf or beach volleyball. There is also a beautiful bathing jetty on the lake, which invites you to take a refreshing swim. After the day you can meet up around the campfire.
The campsite offers many activities for children and adults, such as communal meals and condi bingo, candle making, cake races, and pancake baking.
Great experiences nearby
If your day is all about adventure, the impressive Mønsted Kalkgruber limestone mine is just 15 minutes away. Here you can experience the largest limestone mines in the world. In the other direction, you will find the world map in Klejtrup, where children and adults can wander around the world in no time.
Take a trip
A little further away, but still less than an hour's drive, is Himmelbjerget near Silkeborg, where you can enjoy breathtaking views from a height of 147 meters. If you head north, you will reach the Limfjord, where you can enjoy lovely walks along the water and perhaps take a short trip to the island of Fur.
If you want to experience exciting animals and plants, you can take a trip to the Randers Rainforest – a perfect experience for the whole family.

If you are looking for a place for your own caravan or tent, the campsite in Viborg offers many pitches in beautiful surroundings.
