Description RV park
Our campsite is located directly on the Danube - with a wonderful view of Göttweig Abbey - at the beginning of the beautiful Wachau! The cities of Krems and Stein, as well as the Wachau, are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Our campsite has a tent site and pitches for caravans and motorhomes. There are also four RENTAL MOBILE HOMES available in two different sizes!
A lounge with satellite TV and free WiFi as well as a barbecue area are available for you. A beautiful terrace in the countryside with seating awaits our guests and from our buffet we spoil you with coffee or tea, refreshing drinks, good regional wines and draft beer, as well as small warm and cold dishes. If you order in advance, you can also enjoy our camper breakfast!
Immediately next to the campsite is the Krems marina, where you can rent a parking space for your boat.
About a 5-minute walk away is the Krems leisure park with the swimming arena (indoor pool with sauna and outdoor pool), the tennis court, mini golf course and the soccer field.
The pier for the Wachau shipping is also a 5-minute walk away. There you will also find a well-equipped children's playground.
The “Krems Art Mile” can be reached in 8 minutes on foot, which is the largest of its kind in Austria. The Kunsthalle Krems, the Caricature Museum Krems, the Forum Frohner and the Landesgalerie NÖ offer exhibitions of unique quality every year - a treat for art lovers!
Krems - the 1000 year old city on the river of time - is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The unique ambience of the old town makes shopping in the city center a special experience. Krems and Stein are also known for their excellent wine and the Wachau for its aromatic apricots.
Worthwhile excursion destinations are the Wachau, the Waldviertel or the Kamptal with its unique natural beauty and the many monasteries, castles and palaces worth seeing. A trip to the state capital St. Pölten (20 minutes drive) or a day trip to the federal capital Vienna (1 hour drive) are also highly recommended!
If our campsite is full, it is possible (depending on availability) to switch to our motorhome parking space near the swimming pond in Mautern. There are 11 mobile home spaces available there.
