We would be very happy if you visit Central Burgenland and are interested in our winery. Our winery is available to our wine customers with motorhomes as a parking space for 1 to 2 nights during their stay.
The power supply can be found in the space at the back of the winery.
We are open for wine tastings and wine shopping at the following times:
Wine shop opening hours:

> 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. | April to October
> 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. | November to March
Office opening hours:
> Monday to Wednesday
> 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
The farm sales are currently not open on Sundays and public holidays.
We charge EUR 20.00 per day for a parking space. If you purchase wine for EUR 100.00 or more, the parking space fee will not be charged.

WINIZED FOR GENERATIONS
In the heart of Burgenland, in the middle of Blaufränkischland.
The history of Eichenwald Weine begins in 1962 with the founding of the Horitschon and surrounding wine cooperative.
Today, the imposing and modern winery of Eichenwald Weine rises gracefully in the middle of the Gfanger vineyard in Horitschon in Central Burgenland. The unique building is visible from afar and yet perfectly integrated into the landscape thanks to the sandstone facade. The winery is home to up to 1000 oak barrels, inspiration for connoisseurs and one of the most extraordinary event locations in Burgenland.
90% of the wine range is red wine, especially the Blaufränkisch variety. - After all, we are here in the heart of the Blaufränkischland. Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot complete the offering. The white wines are also diverse, with Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay and Gelber Muskateller making up 10% of the Eichenwald wine range.
Wines for life. Old legends and myths are hidden behind the wine names, such as those of the *Grape Thief, the *Gugafanga or the *Consistency.
The wines are vinified in three different lines. The Classic line, which is predominantly matured in steel tanks, the Premium line, which matures in large wooden barrels (2500 L), and the Reserve line, whose wines are allowed to develop in peace in 225 L barrique barrels.
Above all, the wines combine a lot of fruit, power and varietal typicality. We want to bring the “Mittelburgenland DNA” into the glass of our wines for wine lovers: complex wines with origin, depth, elegance and structure.
Winkled and enchanted. The team, led by Johannes Forauer (Managing Director) and Johannes Berger (Head of Sales & Marketing), stands for the constant development of the wines and the offering at the winery for guests and at events, as well as for a partnership-based collaboration with the around 60 grape suppliers with all partners.
