Welcome to the Helenensee recreation area – your retreat in the Weserbergland region
Experience nature, enjoy peace and quiet, arrive.
Since January 1, 2026, we (Susanne, André and son Lucien) have been running the Helenensee recreation area as the new operators with great passion.
Located directly on the picturesque shore of Lake Helene, we offer you an authentic piece of nature and a relaxing break far away from everyday stress.
We focus on down-to-earth values and a family atmosphere where every camper feels comfortable.
Culinary delights and enjoyment right on site
Leave the kitchen in the camper cold for a while!
The team from Pizzeria Gameiro will pamper you. Enjoy Italian classics in the cozy beer garden with a crispy pizza, fresh pasta or a refreshing Aperol Spritz.
For a relaxing break, we would be happy to serve you a creamy cappuccino or latte macchiato.
Completely taken care of with personal service.
Our on-site kiosk: Small, but perfectly formed!
Did you forget your toothbrush, or does your four-legged friend need a new one? In our kiosk you will find the most important everyday items – from hygiene products to dog food to cans of ravioli for a quick snack.
Breakfast service: Morgengold's external delivery service ensures the perfect start to the day. Order your bread rolls and pastries easily online – delivery takes place daily from 8:30 am.

Fair billing: Our pitches have electricity and water connections.
To guarantee transparent and consumption-based billing, electricity is calculated in kilowatt hours (kWh).

For children there are four playgrounds and a football pitch to let off steam.
