Down-to-earth, ambitious and close to home is probably the best way to describe the heart of the Buchheim-Crossen agricultural cooperative.
Farm butcher shop
In our Etzdorf farm butcher's shop we offer you fresh, home-butchered Thuringian sausage according to old farmer's recipes. We recommend Thuringian meat specialties from our own animals. The pigs and cattle are raised in a species-appropriate manner using our own, GMO-free feed. Through our own processing and marketing at the Etzdorfer Hof, we guarantee freshness through short routes and closed cycles. We do not use additives or flavor enhancers in our natural products. Fine grilled specialties and game from the region complete our product range.
Farm shop
Our Etzdorf farm shop invites you to look, smell, taste and linger. Small producers and direct marketers from the Saale-Holzland-Kreis region present their rural products. We offer you seasonal food from our region, as well as natural goods such as knitwear, sheep's wool products and wooden goods.

You will feel comfortable in our guest rooms, which are designed in a rural atmosphere. All 14 non-smoking rooms are equipped with master-crafted spruce furniture, TV, Internet access and a daylight bathroom with shower.

A9 (Berlin-Munich) use the Eisenberg exit.
Follow the motorway exit and at the end of the road turn right onto the B7 towards Eisenberg
In Eisenberg you will come to a roundabout (Lidl), leave this at the 2nd exit in the direction of Königshofen/Zeitz
You continue to Königshofen
In Königshofen (around the town center) turn right towards Etzdorf
In Etzdorf head towards Crossen
The Etzdorfer Hof is located at the exit from Etzdorf on the right-hand side
Use the A4 exit Gera-Langenberg/Bad Köstritz.
Follow the motorway exit and at the end of the road turn right onto the B7 towards Bad Köstritz, Crossen, Eisenberg
You always stay on the B7 until you come to a roundabout in Hartmannsdorf. Leave this at the 3rd exit in the direction of Eisenberg
In Hartmannsdorf, approx. 100 m after the pedestrian traffic light, turn right into the “Flurgraben” and keep straight ahead to Crossen
In Crossen, keep straight on the main road, behind the RMW factory (on the right) turn left into “Schlossberg”, you will pass Crossen Castle
Now follow the road to Etzdorf
The Etzdorfer Hof is located at the entrance to Etzdorf on the left side
