In the idyllic setting of the Murtal, modern cuisine meets Styrian home cooking at the Knappenwirt in Mariahof. Here you can experience top-class culinary delights in the light-flooded winter garden, the rustic parlors or the cozy guest garden. When preparing his dishes, chef Michael Lohr places particular emphasis on regionality and the use of seasonal products. On top of that, the Knappenwirt also has a well-stocked wine cellar - so the right accompaniment to the lovingly prepared delicacies is definitely provided.
In the summer months, the in-house mini golf course offers fun for young and old.
The Knappenwirt is located directly on the Via Natura circular hiking trail; It is a 15-minute walk to the public and freely accessible swimming lake.
The 18-hole Mariahof golf course is located nearby (2 km).
The Grebenzen – St. Lambrecht ski area is a 15-minute drive away and the Kreischberg ski area is about 30 minutes away.
