Welcome to Hammarstrands camping!
If it looks like you wake up to silence and singing... then you're in luck because you camp at Hammarstrand every morning!
Our campsite is beautifully situated in the middle of nature and offers a beautiful view of the Indalsälven River, providing peace and closeness to nature. We are not bothered by mosquitoes on the campsite.
The campsite is beautifully situated in the valley between Östersund and Sundsvall on the Indalsläven. It's about an hour away in either direction.
Hammarstrand's campsite has 30 pitches with electricity. At the campsite we also have several four-person and two-person Stuga's for rent. These can be rented for 1 night or for a longer period. A little further away, about 100 meters away, we have a 4-person villa/cabin for rent. The entire campsite is well lit.
The heated service building has just been renovated, clean and beautiful. There you will find toilets, showers, a disabled toilet and shower, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and sink, and a washing machine for your motorhome/campervan. The showers are free, spacious and wonderfully warm.
There is a café at the reception where you can get a fika (coffee with some treats). We have different kinds of pastries, packaged ice cream, real Swedish If you want to eat then we have small dishes like toast, different sandwiches and also the real Dutch croquette and frikandel is in the cafe and even more small dishes for sale. For dinner, we also serve meals that you can eat with us or take back to your caravan or motorhome. Breakfast can be ordered one day in advance. A breakfast buffet can also be provided for larger groups.
Here you can swim in the river, there are two beaches on the campsite.
In Hammerstrand you will find everything you need, such as 2 supermarkets, bank, ATM, gas station, pharmacy, health center, dentist, liquor store, pet shop, do-it-yourself, garage, pizzeria and several restaurants.
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash. The campsite also offers the opportunity to let your dog swim or to swim with your dog. In the future, a dog park will be built on the campsite where dogs can run freely and play with each other.
We are open all year round and you can book a winter or summer season with us.
