Description RV park
Himara Camping is situated above Livadh Beach (25m high), next to Himara, the heart of Albanian Riviera. It is just 5min drive from the center of the city where post office, banks and bus station are situated. It is only 15min drive to Ali Pashas fortress, in Porto Palermo and 20min walking distance from Himaras castle, that you can also see from the camping.
Our facilities include toilets, showers, 24/7 water and electricity. Tents are available to rent (or you can bring your own). We also have a small restaurant with fresh local food cooked in the typical Albanian way and a bar with lots and lots of raki!
Himara Camping is embedded into olive groove surrounded by a white stone fence. Each of our 100 pitches has its own tree. The campsite covers an area of 10,000m^2 for tents, campers, bikers and caravans. We offer magical scenery, excellent local hospitality and competitive prices in order to give you an unforgettable holiday.
Due to the climate, Himara Camping operates only during the summer season (May-September). Himara is a central town on the Southern Albanian coast, and can be used as the base point for a range of remarkable excursions. From here, you can visit the famous castle of Himara, Spile Cave, the famous Byzantine church of Himara, or the castle of Porto Palermo. Along the coast, you can also explore the small villages and gorgeous beaches surrounding Himara, from Palasa to Qeparo.
We offer excursions and tours to a variety of places every few days.
