- Description of the environment: We are in the middle of the beautiful Vulkaneifel. Our place is characterized by the fact that we have enough space, including a shaded area. Our special features are the historic mill site with its five fully functional mills, an old bakery, a schnapps distillery and home-brewed beer production in an old brewery. Two restaurants and a grill provide culinary delights.

From Cologne, take the A1 Euskirchen motorway to the Blankenheim exit.
Leave the motorway (Blankenheim exit) and turn right towards Stadtkyll - Trier. Take the B51 expressway to the Stadtkyll - Kronenburg exit. Keep left here and in Stadtkyll turn left onto the B421 towards Daun. Through the town of Jünkerath you will come to Birgel, where you will find our mill site directly on the right-hand side.
From Koblenz or Trier via the A48 motorway.
Here take the A48 Daun/Vulkaneifel exit. From here take the A1 towards Daun until the end of the motorway. From here turn right and after approx. 1km turn right again towards Stadtkyll. Through the towns of Dreis, Oberehe, Walsdorf, Hillesheim you will come to Birgel. In the town of Birgel keep left towards Lissendorf. After about 200 m you will find our mill site on the right hand side.
