Description RV park
Welcome to KlosterGut!
We, the KlosterGut, are a naturland-certified agricultural business in a beautiful setting, a five-minute walk from Lake Kochel. With us you can stand on the former manure plate directly on the farm with a view of the greenery. With around 15 people living on site, we also have sheep, chickens, ducks, alpacas, two dogs and a few cats on the farm. The Karpfsee biotope with our stable for cattle and horses is 1 km from the farm.
Electricity connection and modern sanitary facilities are available (for female | diverse: 1 shower, 2 sit-toilets, 1 washbasin / for male | diverse: 1 shower, 1 sit-toilets, 1 urinal, 1 washbasin). We have a farm shop with a full range of organic products (all year round) and a farm café (May-Oct), which are open 4 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and Saturday from 10am). The village shop with fresh baked goods every day is open 6 days a week in the morning. There are 2 pubs in the village. In the neighboring town of Kochel there is a particularly good vegetarian restaurant, which gets some of our vegetables from their garden (Tiny Soul). Kochel with a butcher's shop, Edeka and organic food store is 4 km away, Großweil with Edeka and bakery is 3 km away and Murnau with a beautiful pedestrian zone is 12 km away and all places can be reached by public regional bus 9611. The Eichsee can be reached by bike in 15 minutes. There is a sandpit for children right next to the pitches.
It's beautiful here... BUT we are not a normal campsite, which means: no chemical toilets or grey water!* It may smell of manure, the tractor drives across the yard, work is being done. Children must be supervised at all times (dangers from machinery, unfenced pond, access to the stable, handling of the animals). Dogs are only allowed on a leash (own farm dog and free-running animals). Meadows, seating areas and gardens outside the vegetable garden may be used. Barbecues or fires are permitted in a fire bowl that you bring with you. Wood can be purchased from us for a small fee. A washing facility is also available.
Arrival from 1pm and departure until 12pm!
Vehicles up to 7m long can park with their long side directly on the edge of the lawn; depending on occupancy, longer vehicles (7m and over) must park vertically. But so far it has mostly worked for everyone!
