The municipality of Butjadingen is located on the North Sea peninsula of the same name and is therefore in the Wesermarsch district, northwest of Lower Saxony. The North Sea peninsula, which lies between the North Sea, the Weser and the Jade Bay and is therefore both washed by the North Sea water and pampered by the sun, is an excellent German travel destination. The North Sea lagoon Butjadingen in Burhave is particularly popular in Butjadingen. Here you can swim in the North Sea water completely independent of the tide. There is also a pirate adventure playground for the little ones.

Motorway A29 in the direction of Wilhemshaven, exit Jaderberg (10), then turn right in the direction of Jaderberg approx. 3.5 km, continue on Jader Str. in the direction of Jade, continue on Außendeicherstr to the L437 (approx. 8 km), turn left in the direction of Varel / Diekmannshausen, in Dieckmannshausen turn right towards coastal baths on Bäderstrasse, follow the road for approx. 17 km, then turn right in the direction of Stollhamm (Ulmenstrasse), in Stollhamm turn left in the direction of Burhave approx. 6.6 km, in Burhave turn right in Direction Nordenham, Burhaverstr.
