Welcome to Basteviksholmarna! A unique place on the west coast of Sweden. A place to truly relax and enjoy nature.
We are pleased that you have found your way to us. You are in the heart of Bohuslän – with sea and rocky coasts as far as the eye can see. To the west you can see the Hållö lighthouse, which is located just outside Smögen. With a little patience, you can usually observe curious seals sticking their heads into the sea.
At this point you could almost say that you are actually walking on water. Because Basteviksholmarna naturally consists of two islands (the mountains you see in the harbor). In the 1970s, the area between the islands was filled in and the road was built here. The rock masses come from the rock caverns that are being blasted out for the oil refinery a little further into the Brofjord. The area was unused for several decades, but since 2006 there has been a marina here.
The port has about 430 permanent berths, about 20 guest berths for boats, a parking lot with 43 RV parking spaces and a port office. There is also a restaurant and an adventure golf course. In the slightly larger white house you will find a restaurant as well as a laundry room, toilets and showers. Additional toilets and a kitchen are located in the white shed next to the harbor office/kiosk.
