Description RV park
The parking spaces are in the rear part of the very large hotel parking lot - right next to the forest, slightly above the Mandelholzer reservoir.
It's actually just the hotel parking lot, but holidaymakers with motorhomes often ask us whether they can park there for one or two nights.
Of course and even free of charge.
The reason for the visit is on a trip through the beautiful Harz, our cafe, the restaurant and very often the use of our wellness area. You can also use it for a small fee.
You can also take part in the breakfast buffet or use our bread roll service (charges apply).

Mandelholz is located in the middle of the forest at the Mandelhölzer Dam.
The hiking and cycling trails lead directly past, and the cross-country ski trail also leads past the house (when there is snow).
It is the ideal place to relax and within a radius of approx. 40 km you will find 6 world heritage sites and two very high-quality cathedral treasures.
Quedlinburg, Wernigerode and Goslar can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
The Harz narrow-gauge railway and the Brocken railway are only 4 km away on a beautiful hiking trail.

You can find Mandelholz between Königshütte and Elend on the B27, we are a district of Elend.
You will find us approx. 18 km from Wernigerode and the B6n-A36, as well as 7 km from Braunlage or 40 km from the south of Nordhausen and the A38.
In general, the infrastructure of the Harz is well developed, in the north the B6n-A36, which will soon become a motorway, in the south the A38 and in the west and in the east the A7 and the A14.
