Directly on the banks of the Mittelland Canal. Our longest and busiest artificial waterway in Germany. From the square you can see the shipping, the marina and the spawning area. The Westf. Mühlenstrasse, the large peat bog with hiking trails and observation towers, the Wiehengebirge with a new observation tower, the historical automaton museum with park, the spa park with the guest house, and a small half-timbered town with restaurants can be explored by bike.
