Description RV park
The five-star KNAUS Campingpark Eschwege is located on a peninsula between the Werra and the Werratalsee. The extensive sports and leisure activities on the site and in the surrounding area ensure a lot of variety: beach volleyball field, table tennis, basketball, football field, riding hall, mini golf course, boules court, canoe rental - there is fun and games for the whole family. The lake can be explored from the shore on the wonderfully located cycle paths while hiking, inline skating and cycling (e.g. Werratalradweg) and shows off its most beautiful side when bathing, surfing, sailing, swimming and fishing. Via a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Werra, you can reach the romantic old town of Eschwege in just ten minutes, where you can stroll through the alleys and visit pretty restaurants and cafés. Trips to Göttingen, Kassel and Eisenach with the famous Wartburg are also great places to stroll, shop, follow in the footsteps of history and experience a lot.
