Welcome to the Rubbertsmühle in Drensteinfurt!
We rent out a SINGLE PLACE all inclusive (with sauna).
Dear campers, from April to September we kindly ask you to book a minimum of 2 nights on weekends – thank you for your understanding.
You will camp on our orchard meadow on the south side of the farm, with space for up to 8 people – children and dogs are very welcome.

The orchard meadow - location & character 🌳🍎🍏: You can see our old mill tower and the hay meadow; Nearby you there is a barrel sauna and a rain shower under the linden tree, and you can also borrow our fire bowl. The meadow has been home to fruit trees of old, now rare varieties for 80-100 years. As part of a NABU orchard project, we have replanted many more old varieties. Feel free to help yourselves to the fruit and berries when nature is plentiful.
Mill Tower & Wildlife 🐦🐇 🐐: Our mill tower (built at the end of the 1800s) lost its sails early on due to a fire. Until the end of its operating period, the mill was powered by a combined heat and power plant. Today the tower is a monument and a breeding ground for kestrels; You can observe their young in the spring. At night you can often hear owls, during the day many songbirds and corvids. Hares and pheasants frolic in the meadows, and with a bit of luck you might see a deer. We also live with our two old goats Azrael and Lavender, as well as our cat 🐈Katinka, who also travels with us on holiday in our 40-year-old camper.

Sounds & atmosphere 🌿 : Acoustically, you are right in the middle of country life: bird calls, kestrels, owls, the wind in the trees and occasionally an agricultural machine are all part of it. A country road runs in front of the meadow, and a federal highway is about 200m away. Depending on the weather and time of day, the traffic in the background is sometimes more, sometimes less audible; Many noises are absorbed by farm buildings, trees, and fields. Our guests find the mix of nature, expansive views and rural sounds very relaxing – a piece of real country life, with quiet and sometimes somewhat louder sounds.
🐕 Dogs are very welcome here. If you have animals on board, by booking you accept our camper rules (section “Dogs”) - please be sure to read them.
Arrival and departure 🚐🕒 : Arrival Mon-Thurs from 3 pm, Fri-Sun from 2 pm, departure until 1 pm. If no one is there before/arrives after, arrival and departure are possible on an individual basis.
Excursion destinations 🚲🌳🏙️: I have put together a small booklet with places worth seeing, which I will send you when you book and which you can use to inspire you. Here's a brief overview:
📍A grocery store with a bakery, two restaurants, a snack bar, the post office & doctors are within walking distance.
📍Several beautiful cycling and hiking routes run along our mill - either directly into the industrial heritage or into the nature of the Münsterland region. The entrance to the Werse cycle path is very close by. You can also join the 100 Castles Route from here.
📍By car or train you can quickly reach Münster, Dortmund, Hamm or visit small, typical Münsterland villages. Münster, in particular, with its weekly market, is worth a day trip, as is the Ruhr area with its industrial heritage.
📍Day trip destinations: Münster —> Allwetterzoo, Planetarium, Mill Museum, Aasee (pedal boat, tour), weekly market, historic old town, lots of culture. Hamm —> Maxipark, Maximare
📍Swimming pool, great sauna, indoor pool 10 km away - beautiful cycle path
📍You can find numerous opportunities to eat regional and Mediterranean food in Ahlen, Münster, and Hamm.

🛎️ 40 euros per night for one to two people and one vehicle 🔅

🛎️ Additional persons: Two persons are included in the price. Each additional adult (16 years and older): 10 euros. Children aged 4 and over: 7 euros. Prices for other vehicles available upon request.
🛎️ Barrel sauna, rain shower under the linden tree, mood lighting. 23 euros for 2.5 hours for one or two people. More people by arrangement.
🛎️ Fire bowl: free of charge – you are also welcome to bring your own bowl
🛎️ Wood: 5 euros per crate – feel free to bring your own wood
🛎️ Grill: Cleaning fee 5 Euros. Feel free to bring your grill!
🛎️ Charcoal: Bag 6 Euros, half bag 3 Euros
🛎️ You can find drinks in the refrigerator: soft drinks, water (still, sparkling), beer, Moselle wines, sparkling wine.
🛎️ Eggs from happy hens: 40 cents each
🛎️ Shamanic Journey: Would you like to meet your power animal or do you have other questions for your shamanic guides? The price depends on the number of people.
🛎️ Tractor ride with a vintage tractor: One person can ride on our 9-ton John Deere from 1968 and take a ride with Markus. This offer is only valid in consultation with Markus and depending on the circumstances.
Cancellation Policy 🗓️↩️
Cancellations are free of charge up to 14 days before the appointment, cancellations up to one week before the appointment cost 50% of the total price, and from the 6th day before the booked appointment we would like to charge the full price.
