Welcome to Merlin Hof – a campsite right on the edge of the forest in the Fläming Nature Park
Are you looking for a quiet place to spend the night while passing through, or would you like to spend a few days surrounded by nature?
Then you are most welcome!
Nature right on your doorstep
My approximately one hectare property is located directly on the edge of the forest in the beautiful Fläming Nature Park, away from major roads and far from the hustle and bustle of classic campsites. The focus here is primarily on peace, nature, and a relaxed atmosphere.
There is also quite a bit to discover on the property. A few chickens are part of the farm and are allowed to roam freely – with a bit of luck you might even spot some little chicks.
Excursion destinations in the surrounding area
The site is located only about 10 km from the A9 motorway and is therefore ideal for a stopover on the route between Berlin and the greater Leipzig/Halle area. Perhaps you will like it so much that you would like to stay a few days longer – there is a lot to discover in the surrounding area.
The Bräsen Observatory is a special experience. The quiet location offers good conditions for observing the starry sky and the sun.
And there is also something to see directly from the Merlin Hof: Almost every evening the sky delights with beautiful sunsets and ever new, impressive colors.

Whether you are traveling by motorhome, camper, caravan, car or tent – ​​you and your four-legged companions are very welcome here.
Merlin Hof offers individual pitches with plenty of privacy and ample space for yourself. This allows you to enjoy your stay in peace and quiet.
A newly built small holiday home with three bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and hot water, and a kitchen has recently been added to the property and can be rented separately.
If the holiday home is not currently occupied, campers on the property have the option of using the holiday home's bathroom by prior arrangement.
For even more relaxation, a sauna is also available on the premises.
Use is possible for an additional fee and can be arranged individually with the host.
And there are already plans for even more comfort:
A separate sanitary building with toilets and showers is planned for spring 2027, which should make the stay even more pleasant for our camping and tent guests.
Personal & uncomplicated
I myself live here surrounded by nature and enjoy meeting people from different countries and with different travel stories.
Besides my native language German, I speak fluent English, as well as some Russian and Spanish.
After 30 years in a multinational corporation, I now enjoy my life as a freelancer with plenty of time and peace in nature.
A small, natural setting
Please note that this is not a traditional campsite with entertainment, large sanitary facilities or an extensive range of leisure activities.
Merlin Hof is a small, personal and nature-oriented campsite for people who are looking for peace and quiet, enjoy being outdoors and appreciate an uncomplicated atmosphere.
Whether you are just passing through for one night, coming with a tent, staying for a few days with your campervan, or want to rent the holiday home: you are most welcome!
How ​​did the "Merlin Hof" get its name?
The name of the farm is a reminder of our very special white Labrador, Merlin.
He enchanted us from the very first moment and gave this place its name.
