Directly in front of Weinberg Castle is the baroque 400-year-old Meierhof, where the Weinberg Castle Brewery, the first Upper Austrian brewery, is located. The former horse stables with their mighty vaults and granite columns were converted into cozy, stylish guest rooms in 1989. In the restaurant there are the copper brewing pans in which the beer is brewed. Here you will find the coziness of a real brewery: freshly brewed, naturally cloudy, unfiltered beer and the corresponding down-to-earth, beery cuisine. In summer you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Weinberg Castle and the Mühlviertel landscape from the wonderful guest garden. Our service team and the ambience of these historic walls should make you forget your everyday life for a few hours with happiness, cheerfulness and culinary delights.
