The place is located on the legendary River Acheron: From here, according to legend, souls are transported to the underworld. The place itself is located a little behind the actual excursion site (picnic area) with a tavern whose owner comes from Germany. Folklore performances also take place here on two days a year
instead of. Also worth seeing is the restored monastery right on the square, which is a UNESCO cultural heritage site. Since the site is located slightly behind the picnic area/excursion destination, access for larger motorhomes can be described as “difficult” - but doable if you drive carefully.
