- Description of the environment: The Beerfelden district lies at an altitude of between 450 and 550 m in one of the most wooded regions of the Odenwald. There are numerous circular hiking trails of varying lengths. You can swim in spring water in the Waldseebad and mountain bikers will get their money's worth in the bike park. When there is enough snow, the ski lift is open and the trails are groomed.
