Description of the environment:
The parking space is on the outskirts of Friedenfels - at the Frauenreuther Weiher. Here you have the opportunity to go fishing. Day and weekly tickets can be purchased at the “Sporn” inn.
The local butcher's shop Kraus (Mühlstraße) offers a large selection of sausages and meat products made in-house. The village shop offers a good selection of daily necessities, bread and rolls, regional and organic products as well as drinks from the Friedenfels Castle Brewery.
A newly marked network of paths offers many hiking opportunities throughout the Steinwald Nature Park - and in Friedenfels.
