Description RV park
The motorhome parking space “An der Probstmühle” is located close to the city center in a quiet location in the immediate vicinity of the Europa-Rosarium Sangerhausen, the largest rose collection in the world. There is space for 16 mobile homes up to a maximum of 3.5 tonnes. The fee is €10.00 per night and per pitch. Payment is made cashless at a parking ticket machine. You can also book electricity for €6.00 per day. When you register at the pay machine, you will be given a card that can be used to charge your electricity. A deposit of €5.00 will be charged for this card. When you return the card on the day of departure, the deposit will be credited back.
The maximum period of use per motorhome is 3 nights. Dogs are allowed on the premises. Tents, cars, mobile homes and caravans without toilets and waste water tanks are not permitted. There are garbage containers and a supply and disposal point near the parking space (location of the VE column: Sotterhäuser Weg bus parking lot, from May to October, the key is available for a fee of €5.00 at the cash desk of the Europa-Rosarium at the main entrance, Gartenträume-Laden, Am Rosengarten 2a). The facility is open 24 hours a day, all year round. The center of Sangerhausen can be reached on foot. There are also various sights nearby, such as the Romanesque Ulrich Church, the Marien Church and the Jacobi Church. Also easily accessible are the Europa-Rosarium, the Spengler Museum and the Röhrigschacht show mine and mining museum, which is located in the nearby town of Wettelrode. Shopping facilities are located near the parking space.
