Description RV park
It is a large meadow directly behind the Dodoni Amphitheater. A gravel path leads into the meadow, so even large motorhomes have no problem. There is a fresh water tap 50 meters in front of the parking space. A visit to the UNESCO-awarded archaeological site with an impressive amphitheater is a “must” (open between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.). Up to 18,000 spectators could attend here
follow competitions; In Roman times, animal fights mainly took place between bulls and boars. The surrounding area is also ideal for walks: the small villages in particular are very beautiful and you feel like you are in Ticino. At the entrance to the excavation site there is also a tavern where you can have a very rustic meal (but unfortunately it is not always open). The entrance is less than 500 meters from the parking space.
