Description RV park
The parking space is in Liggiades, a small town above Lake Ioannina which is 1.5 km away. There is a fantastic view over the lake in an absolutely quiet location. The place itself is worth seeing because of its architecture. There is also history: the place was visited by the Wehrmacht during World War II and is considered one of the 93 recognized sacrificial villages in Greece. There is also a memorial here that you should visit if possible, as there is absolutely no “anti-German sentiment” – quite the opposite. The space is officially made available by the municipality as a mobile home parking space.
