Description RV park

Open all year round – only 3 km to the A96 motorway and 9 km to the Hörbranz/Pfändertunnel border crossing. The overnight parking area in front of the campsite is ideal for a spontaneous overnight stay on the way south to South Tyrol or Italy. Additional pitches without a minimum stay are available in the camping park.

The 5-star camping park is located in the north of Lindau, surrounded by forests, meadows and ponds. Here campers, nature lovers and connoisseurs will find their place – from classic pitches to rental caravans or Varia Homes. Leisure activities, culinary delights and a family atmosphere characterize the holiday experience. ### In most cases, pitches are still available at short notice in the camping park itself – ideal for spontaneous guests.
A notice:
The GITZ outdoor swimming pool has been permanently closed since the end of the 2025 season.
In winter (November to Good Friday) limited services: reception staffed for a few hours at a time, sanitary facilities available. Supermarket, restaurants and lounges closed.

    Coming from the A96 (from Munich) or the A14 (from Austria), take the Weißensberg exit and follow the B12 towards Lindau. After the town of Rothkreuz, blue signs point you to the Gitzenweiler Hof camping park.

    Super Stellplatz zum kurzen verweilen!

    Wir haben eine Nacht auf dem Stellplatz verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden.
    Die kompletten Einrichtungen (WC, Pool, Resataurants,…) vom Campingplatz dürfen benutzt werden.

    Werden wir nie vergessen😍

    Wir sind hier auf dem Weg zum Bodensee in den Osterferien gelandet. Wir hatten weder gebucht noch geplant überhaupt an den Bodensee zu kommen. Kannten uns 0 aus, war unser 1. Mal am See. Die Situation warum ich mit meiner Tochter alleine ohne Ziel los bin war nicht schön, aber dort angekommen (war komplett alles belegt auf dem Platz) wurden wir so freundlich empfangen und als einziger Campingplatz boten sie uns diesen Platz an. Ein paar Stunden später hatte man dann auch noch einen Platz für uns auf dem Campingplatz❤ wir werden diese Herzlichkeit nie vergessen und sind seitdem jedes jahr einmal dort. Absolute Empfehlung😍😍

    Wir kommen wieder

    Wir haben den Stellplatz auf der Rückreise von Italien genutzt. Die Lage hat uns überzeugt. Durch den Pfändertunnel, 2. Abfahrt raus und noch 2 Minuten Fahrt und man ist da. Die Rezeption hatte schon geschlossen, was aber kein Problem war. Wir konnten uns an den Strom anschliessen und haben uns morgens angemeldet und gleich bezahlt. Mega: Man darf das Freibad mitnutzen. Danach gabs lecker Nudeln in der Pizzeria vor Ort. Das WLAN lässt leider etwas zu wünschen übrig. Sanitär und Entsorgung waren ok. Der schnuckelige Supermarkt hat auch das Nötigste im Sortiment. Wenn man Richtung Autobahn fährt, kommt man aber auch an einem größeren Supermarkt vorbei. Der Platz ist sicher etwas teurer als normale Stellplätze, aber dafür bekommt man auch einiges an Infrastruktur geboten. Insgesamt ein solides Angebot.

    Alles in allem sehr zufriedenstellend.

    Wir waren im Herbst für 1 Nacht da. Der Stellplatz ist gut und relativ ruhig. Eine Straße und Bahnlinie sind in der Nähe, aber die hört man nur gedämpft und der Verkehr hält sich in Grenzen. Der Preis ist etwas höher, wie bei normalen Stellplätzen, aber dafür kann man auch die Sanitärhäuser (Einzelkabinen!) nutzen. Das Essen im Restaurant (gutbürgerlich) war auch lecker. Bequem ist die Lage nahe der Autobahn. Wir kommen bei Gelegenheit wieder vorbei, evtl. ja auch mal für einen ausgedehnten Urlaub. Der Campingpark sieht gut ausgestattet aus. Das Wlan allerdings ist etwas verbesserungswürdig. Ländlicher Ausbau 😉

    1 Nacht auf dem Parkplatz ohne Versorgung für 22 EUR

    wir sind nachts um 1 angekommen und haben uns auf den Parkplatz gestell, kein Strom und kein Wasser genutzt und sind morgens um 9 abgereist. Dafür wurden uns 22 EUR berechnet - für nichts ausser ein paar qm Stellfläche. Unser Nachbar war schlauer, er ist um 8 abgereist bevor die Rezeption geöffnet hat...

Im Hotel sagen Sie ja bestimmt auch nicht: Jetzt hab ich erst spät eingecheckt, gehe früh und möchte nicht duschen; da lassen Sie mich doch bestimmt günstiger übernachten ;-) Evtl. klappt es ja mal mit einem längeren Urlaub am GITZ.
