We are located directly on the Wiehengebirge with countless cycling and hiking trails on our doorstep. You can e.g. For example, you can hike to the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument in about 2 hours or start a bike tour to the mills in the district. The Weser is also not far and offers many opportunities for leisure activities.
There is a restaurant within walking distance in just a few minutes and there are also very nice places to stop for refreshments on the cycling and hiking trails.
There are only two places, these are on a meadow right next to the road, so it's easy to get to. The road is hardly busy at all and you can see meadows, forests and fields in all directions. There is a fire pit available exclusively for you, as well as some seating under shady trees.
If you want to spend a day away from nature, that's not far either. Two large shopping centers, cinema, theater, etc. can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. A supermarket is only 5 minutes away.
You are welcome to borrow a table and chairs from us, and we can also provide a grill or a parasol free of charge. Fresh water is not a problem either. However, there is no toilet or wastewater disposal facility, so you should be self-sufficient.
If required, we can offer electricity, which is charged based on consumption. Depending on the season, we also sell homemade jam.
